Thinner (New American Library, 1984)
On Writing (Scribner, 2000)
A set of rare pre-publication copies intended to garner reviews and for grassroots promotion. All three are fairly worn with rubbing and scuffing to faces and wear around the edges, including bumped corners and curling covers (On Writing). Heavy reading creases and slanted spine to Thinner. Some discoloration to back cover of On Writing with crease to top left corner. Dark liquid (coffee?) staining to many pages of Thinner. “9102” written in pen on first page of On Writing with a bit of spotty discoloration there as well. See photos for condition.
