A beautiful tall hand made glass vase, manufactured by Borske Sklo in Czechoslovakia in the 1960s and designed by Max Kamegiesser who won the award for best glass design of the year with this piece in 1963.
The vase is made from pressed glass with blue, pink and gold lens-like detail. This design is known as the Nemo pattern and reflects light in quite fascinating ways. The design was manufactured in a range of shapes and sizes and has become a popular collectable mid-century modern design icon.
This is a rare tall version of the vase and is quite heavy, weighing 1.25kg
The vase is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the gold details are in excellent condition
The vase is 14cm in diameter and 25cm high.
