A very unique and rare set of four (4) ceramic Chinese “paper” lantern handing candle holders
There are three different designs here and doubles of the smallest lantern. The large square is about 7” tall, the cylinder is about 6” tall, and the balls are 5” tall.
All have metal wire hangers secured in them and all have some fade to the paint on the outside of the lanterns. This is likely due to display or storage and use over time. However outside of the fading colors the integrity seems strong with no terrible flaws that I’ve found. There are some small chips here and there. The largest on the top of the big lantern. Please check over pictures well for condition. But overall plenty of life left!
They all have the same character on them that reads “bamboo” or Zhú
I searched high and low to find information on these however I am turning up completely short. Though they appear to be candle holders you could also use them for hanging air plants or maybe put battery powered lights
