Large vintage amethyst uranium glass vase, measuring 13” high and 24” around at its widest point. Classic urn form with vertical optic ribbing. The glass shows a deep, rich purple under natural light and fluoresces a vivid yellow-green under 365’ UV/blacklight, confirming uranium content.
This style is most often attributed to Anchor Hocking, though similar large amethyst uranium vases were also produced by Viking and L.E. Smith in the mid-20th century. The impressive size and uncommon amethyst color make this a striking and desirable collector’s piece.
Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Perfect as a centerpiece vase or a highlight in any uranium/vaseline glass collection.
