Real leather, very broken in. Insides show wear, but the shoes have life left in them! Soles show regular wear. Vogs last forever and I've resoled my others multiple times using Fluevog themselves or outside cobblers to replace the soles, when necessary. :) The laces could stand to be replaced as well, some discoloration and the ends are frayed, but another easy fix.
