THE LITTLE MERMAID Tattoo Ariel Shell Pocket T-Shirt & Denim Handmade Tote Bag

This tote is made by me (PhrankenKrafts) from an old tatted up Ariel t-shirt, likely bought on the boardwalk one summer that has a flash-style banner on the bottom of the graphic that reads "Aspire and Create". I used some old, ripped jeans I previously dyed red to make the strap, sides, and bottom of the bag. The inside lining is corduroy from an old romper and the pocket on the inside is from the jeans used for the strap. The design on the back is airbrushed on and outlined with Slick fabric paint- the bubbles are outlined with glow-in-the-dark paint! I created the design of the Dinglehopper, trident and bubbles on the computer and used my Cricut to make a stencil. The three seashells are functional pockets and are made from the same fabric as the inner lining and some fabric scraps. Measures about 20" tall, 14" across, and 3" wide with a strap drop of about 17". Total project time: 33 hours.
