Guan Yin Old Chinese Goddess Antique Hand Carved Wood

Guan Yin, the Chinese goddess of compassion and mercy. Likely from the Qing Dynasty (18th century), figurine is carved from boxwood.
Known as "She who hears the cries of the world" Guan Yin is often depicted wearing flowing robes and necklaces, holding a jar of pure water or a willow branch. She is a symbol of compassion and is associated with vegetarianism in some Buddhist schools.
Approximately 5” tall and less than an inch wide and long. Very tactile, could use a gentle cleaning but otherwise in great condition.
