This VASE! It is over 200 years old. It is still lovely and in AMAZING condition. With history just oozing off of it, make it a piece in your collection today!
12" Tall
6" Wide
Large German Enameled Vase
The front depicts a beautiful painting of the coat of arms of the Ulm zu Wangen family, a noble lineage from the region of Swabia (now known as Bavaria in Germany).
The Ulm family was associated with the city of Ulm, a Free Imperial City in the Holy Roman Empire. The coat of arms feature a distinctive design with blue and red zig-zag patterns and a crest with a stylized bird.
The vase is an amber color, with a cylindrical shape and hand painted gold trim. It has detailed blue glass shells all around the piece near the base. The stand of the vase is ribbed, and there is a small chip that has been smoothed over through time. It takes nothing away from this lovely piece of history.
