Fred Thompson was a well listed photographer/artist and a peer of Wallace Nutting.
Very large. The dimension of the framed piece measures approximately 22 1/2" x 18 3/4". The image measures 13 1/4" x 9 3/4"
The original frame shows wear. The photo is in good condition. The mat has discoloration and toning. It has no rips or tears. Not examined outside of frame. The shadows and shading you see in the photos are from the flash and not on the photo.
