Vintage 1950s American Character SWEET SUE Doll Brunette 15" Ideal P90 Torso

For your consideration is this vintage Sweet Sue doll produced by American Character. The back of her head is marked "A.C.", which seller identified as American Character. Her torso is marked P90...a part used by Ideal Doll Company for their Toni line dolls. In 1951, American Character and Ideal partnered to produce materials for dolls in Israel and the US. During cleaning, seller noticed doll was still strung with the original elastic cording. Seller thus believes the doll was produced between 1950 and 1951, when the two companies partnered, dolls were transitioning from mohair to saran type hair; right before the change to the softer new face (American Character Dolls: Identification Value Guide by Judith Izen).
