RARE Imperial Loganberry Decanter in the Vigna Vetro Frit treatment NO stopper
- Produced for only one year, in 1959
- Difficult making process included rolling milk glass, while still soft, across table of multi-colored glass chips, or frit. Frit that remained close to surface would pop and leave little explosions, resulting in interesting textures and patterns in the glass ... mostly smooth to the touch, but a few very light rough spots here and there.
- Frit is blue, green, and yellow (this decanter also has a few dark spots here and there).
- Original Imperial label is present
- Found at estate sale
- Unique and rare conversation piece!
Very Nice Condition
- I see no cracks, breaks, or repairs
- A few very shallow imperfections along the top ... could be from the making process, or from the stopper being placed
- No stopper
- Label is intact, with slight wear to the edge
