The first, or an early model, of the Bache Brown Spinster spinning reel was made by Airex, a division of the Lionel Corporation. Purchased in 2000 from an antique store, this reel has been on display or in storage since. There is a hairline crack in the plastic housing as well as minor surface wear and scratching.
