These traditional craft brushes are handmade one by one by a craftsman who has been making brushes for 35 years. He undertakes work for numerous manufacturers.

These are Kumano brushes, a traditional craft of Hiroshima Prefecture, and are excellent items for both display and actual use.

The manufacturer's name on the price sticker is blacked out. It is not blacked out on the actual product.

The total price including tax for 8 brushes is 15,650 yen.

Weasel brushes are characterized by their moderate elasticity and good ink absorption. They are easy to control at the tip, and the strokes can be drawn beautifully.
Since only the tail part of the weasel can be used for calligraphy brushes, calligraphy brushes made with weasel hair are expensive.
