Vintage Woolrich Woman Red Wool Coat Lined M

Vintage Woolrich Woman red wool waist length coat with pockets and button closure. Fully lined. The waist has a few inches of wide elastic at each hip for a more feminine fit. Newer Woolrich clothing from the last 20 years is more aimed at the recreational outdoorsmen as opposing to the working outdoorsmen, So often the materials are a slightly lower quality and less rugged on modern products. For this reason vintage Woolrich, like this coat, is highly desirable and extra durable. I’m having a hard time dating this coat as this label started being used in the 60s through the 80s. I believe woolrich woman is an early 80s line, however, the sheep in this logo has squared ears which might indicate it’s from the 60s. It is firmly in the vintage category, though. Measurements are approximate and taken while laying flat: 24 inches from shoulder to hem, and 22 inches from armpit to armpit.
