Signed (by Bette Davis) first American edition, first printing hardcover copy of Bette Davis: A Celebration by Alexander Walker (Little, Brown & Company, 1986). Signed and inscribed by Davis on an early page. A deep dive into the life, films, plays and other events surrounding the beloved actress, said by many to have been one of the greatest of all time. Jacket protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing to faces and shelf wear around the edges. Bottom edge of back cover creased and torn, with tape adhered to reverse side. Boards faintly bowed and with bumped corners but are otherwise clean. Binding is faintly split in a few gutters though spine is straight and binding remains quite firm on the whole. All pages clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
