This is a lovely vintage blouse from Carlisle. Carlisle was a fashion design company founded to offer elegant classic clothing and accessories for women by private appointment. Based in New York City, the firm has an extensive network of sales consultants in over 500 cities and upscale suburbs throughout the United States. This blouse is a stunning canary silk with a geometric color-block collar and classic button down back. There are shoulder pads that can be removed. This would be an excellent vintage item to add to your collection. Pair it with a set of high wasted jeans and sneakers for a upscale casual style. There are some flaws concurrent with its age. There is a discoloration on the back directly under the right shoulder. I have not tried to remove it. I am not familiar with cleaning silk and wouldn't want to make it worse.
