Unpainted and in the original packaging. This is an original kit not a recast and very hard to come by! I only opened the outer bag to inspect the parts but the two smaller bags have never been opened and the instructions are included. There does seem to be small bits of resin that have broken off over time(this kit is over 18 years old) I can provide more photos and answer any questions but please keep in mind that older kits do have defects and may have thinner parts of resin.
