This is an extreme weather deck jacket with lettering on the back. I cannot tell what exactly was used to mark the ship's name. It is from the ARC-3 formerly, USS AEOLOP and is marked as such. My step father worked as a welder at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. I am assuming he acquired this from a friend in Boston, I reallly don't know.
It had been hanging in the basement for over a decade when I found it. The tag fell off when I washed it. I believe it said large, please refer to the measurements which are 26 x 30. Approximately.
