Vintage Eagle Mark 2 Mexico 925 sterling silver abalone flower ring size 7
Exquisite piece. Stunning natural abalone shell. Super pretty natural iridescent colors. Inlaid in 925 sterling silver flower. Stamped "925 BFS" with an Eagle Mark 2. Eagle Mark pieces are becoming harder to find. The eagle mark stamps were only used on Mexican jewelry from the 1950's - 1970's to indicate the purity of the Silver metal used is Sterling Silver (92.5% pure silver). It was not use after that so that's why these pieces are becoming more rare. Very fascinating piece. Natural, beautiful patina included. May need a cleaning depending on your preferences. Tested with a neodymium magnet and JSP acid, guaranteed sterling.
