10k Gold Amber Earrings Pierced Faceted Gem High Color Saturation Mint

The metal on these earrings tests positive for gold; I only used the 10k reagent but it could be 14k. The pictures make the metal look silver but it's goldtone. There is also no maker's mark. (It's pliable and non-magnetic while leaving a gold colored streak.) I am guessing (and low balling) the weight of the gold to factor into the price. Amber is a resin so it feels kind of like plastic but you can see the difference if you look at it with light passing through the stone where you can see through it. You will notice that the light is distorted (there is spots where it's not uniform). The other main difference is how strong the color is. It would be hard to have plastic return light that saturated in color.
