Vintage Homer Laughlin Original Green Teapot Tea Pot w/ Lid Fiesta Art Deco. Also known as Rivera Green. 1930s. Has slight chip under lid ( see last pic).
Riviera Green is a line of solid-colored, Art Deco-style dinnerware and serveware produced by The Homer Laughlin China Company in the 1930s and 1940s, designed using existing Fiesta and Harlequin shapes. The color "Original Green" was a color already used on other Homer Laughlin tableware lines in the late 1920s and early 1930s, making it a logical choice for the Riviera line's introduction in 1938. Pieces in this line, such as plates, teacups, saucers, and covered jugs, are considered collectible.
