Vintage RC car with remote control, instruction paper, and box. This was a garage find that, due to the open face box, all parts experienced heavy dirt/grime and stains. However the car cleaned up pretty nicely with a simple wipe.
Car takes 4 AA batteries, and remote takes single 9V battery. The car turns on and gives sound + moving/spinning parts (https://youtu.be/inTvD2TXI8Y). I was briefly able to test the remote, and it seemed to work properly making the car's wheels go and such, but I had issues with putting the battery in correctly so I didn't do extensive testing.
I think that the black tab in the battery compartment is supposed to be pressed in during operation, but when you insert the 9V battery it won't push the tab in like it should. I had to put the battery halfway in at an angle, and only then would the remote work. I bet you could easily rig it with tape or a small object. There is heavy corrosion in the battery compartment, but I don't believe it affects performance.
