This vintage Italian VIETRI fruit bowl and plate was purchased in Vietri, Italy. (Vietri is the first town you reach when traveling to the Amalfi Coast). The images surrounding the bowl and plate are grapes. The bowl is used for washing the fruit and the holes on the bottom are for drainage. Once washed, you place your fruit on the plate. The plate measures 10 1/2 round and bowl 9 1/2 round. Handmade in Italy for VIETRI under the plate is slightly worn off but you can still see the wording. In excellent condition - no chips or cracks.
