Authentic vintage WWII Men's Army jacket also known as an "Ike Jacket."
Olive/light brown tone wool exterior, tan rayon lining.
I believe it is Spec PDQ 437B which would date it for procurement 13 June 1946 to 3 September 1948.
Size tag 34 R. Would best fit size XS-SM.
Fabulous stitching and structure details throughout.
Button closure. Shoulder tabs. Waistband cinches. Collar closure tab. No fabric tag but it has a wool texture and rugged vintage look.
The jacket has been worn, likely in the field, as there are repairs, repair stitching, and some tiny pinholes throughout. A few small dark stains on the chest pocket and sleeve, not sure if they will wash out or not as I didn't attempt to clean this piece. I wanted to preserve its vintage condition. All characteristics of age and use have been photographed.
This jacket does have a considerable weight to it, but shipping is included. Therefore the price is firm.
