Moritz Zdekauer Austria produced some of the finest porcelain decorative and serving pieces for many decades and are a favorite among collectors. These survivors (7 pieces) were produced between 1884 and 1909. (See mark.) The condition of ALL of these pieces is remarkable. No chips, cracks, crackling, scuffs, marks, or signs of wear. The serving bowl is almost 11 1/2 inches across; the six individual bowls are about 5 inches across. Note the well executed gold trim along the edge of each piece and the beautifully painted detail in the floral images. Given their age, these pieces are museum quality.
