Amazing brass chest with 5 sides of very detailed repousse relief depictions! Inside is a red silk type material. The key is original and still works. It does appear the lid is unlevel a bit (see pics), but it works fine and still locks and unlocks. 6"W x 3-1/2"D x 3"H. This piece is Circa 19th - early 20th century and is extremely heavy for its size. Would be a stunning piece on any mantel or stand out in any office/library space!
