Vintage Wicker/Wood Sewing Basket; Green W/Floral Tapestry Lid & Green Satin Int

This sewing basket is made of wood & covered in green braided wicker accented with two strips of ivory wicker. Has a padded lid covered in a gorgeous floral tapestry design on a black background & a Velcro closure. Has a large durable wood handle wrapped in green wicker & attached to the basket by plastic hardware that allows handle to swivel up & down or remain completely upright. Bottom is plain wood with four pegs for protection. Interior completely lined in a beautiful green satin with two gathered pockets & a padded round pin cushion in the lid. Entire interior is edged in a wide green satin ribbon. Dimensions 10” long, 10” wide, 7 1/2” high, 13” high including handle, 6” deep. Sewing basket is from 1970’s & in amazing vintage condition. No frayed or flawed areas on the wicker & no tears, rips or flaws to the tapestry. Interior satin has a few very faint markings but no tears, rips, holes or stains. See photos.
