Antique hardcover book titled "The Yellow Knight of Oz" by Ruth Plumly Thompson, published in 1930 by Reilly & Lee in Chicago.
L. Frank Baum, renowned for writing the beloved Oz book fantasy adventure series, blessed this author to continue the OZ lexicon after he was gone. Ruth Plumly Thomson was quite prolific, making Oz even more colorful and fanciful and her books, continued with the same publisher, Reilly & Lee, and the same whimsical illustrator, John R. Neill, are considered an authentic continuation of the original Oz series. They are very collectible and this book is in great shape. No binding issues, pages are unstainedcand tightly bound. the THIS BOOK BELONGS TO is filled out and some drawings have been colored in but I have many other 1930's books that have not dated this well. No smells, no mildew, responsibly stored for 95 years!
Illustrations are in black and white only, no color plates, this is not a first edition, but is an early copy. Blue cloth cover. See pics.
