The plates are marked on the underside with a Sarreguemines France mark in use since 1974. Made of earthenware pottery with an embossed design around the edges.
The plates are painted in a brown majolica glazeThere are 4 compartments on each plate.
These plates are heavy and well made
Measurements: Approximately 9" diameter.
Good vintage condition; shows signs of normal use.
No visible cracks or chips but has heavy crazing (consistent with manufacturer) on gold and green plates.
