Antique set of Depose /Paris , France WW1 Binoculars,. This French Set was probably to fight with the U.S. and England against Germany.
These binoculars are retractable.
The center focusing adjustment turns great and moves lenses properly in and out.
The compass works
MARKINGS : " Depose " between the larger lenses.
" Army " by the left eye piece.
" Long Range " by the right eye piece. Both eye pieces are seen with the marking " Champiere / Paris. "
Between both eye pieces, it has the marking " 8 lenses " and " Made in France.""
Lenses are clear and clean with excellent viewing from both ends of binoculars.
There are no scratches in the lenses.
Some cosmetic blemishes are seen.
Peeling in a few small areas.
