A RARE Hard to Find - Antique Zell Majolica Dinnerware Accessory
Brand/Pattern: Zell - Majolica LDBC
Item: Creamer Pitcher (approx. 5.75" high x 5" wide w/lid on & to handle) w/Lid and accompanying Plate (6")
Design: Basketweave Floral Hand Painted
Colors: Vibrant - Yellow, blue and red flowers, green leaves and brown stems
Country of Origin: Germany
Era: believed to be from the 1930's
The plate has a circular LDBC stamp with "Hand Painted Germany" around the outside and "Demor Nice" around the inside. It also has the impressed Zell number "2813". The pitcher is stamped and impressed number is 2832 w/a 5 underneath.
Condition: No crazing; a few noted chips but no cracks in each item. Please see pics.
