Description
Vintage Mid-Century Chinese square-form vase. Painted in rich, colorful enamels depicting scenes on each of the 4 flat sides. The scenes alternate between a bird perched amongst flowering branches and a grouping of precious objects. The piece is finished off with lovely geometric and floral border designs typical of the Nyonya style.
Would look very nice with a silk flower bouquet.
Marked on the underside with a partial Tongzhi dynasty mark stamped in red.
Age: Mid-century.
The condition is excellent.
