Gilded metal (most likely brass as base metal) .
Measurements ~ Necklace is 37 inches x 1/8 inches wide .
Condition : Good vintage condition with some wear /loss to gilding ~ Some metal discoloration (blackening) seen at few places ,does not take away the beauty of this necklace ~ Clasp is later replacement .
