Ride the High Iron is a 1957 romantic crime melodrama which was publicized as the first expose of Park Avenue’s hush-up racket. The film takes place in the world of public relations. Famous tough-talking, hard-bitten quotes from the film include”Sure I’ll keep your name out of the papers, baby ... for a price” and “What I do for kicks is my business ...  your business is to keep my name out of the headlines”. The movie stars Sally Forrest, Don Taylor and Raymond Burr just before he became famous as television’s “Perry Mason”.
