Overview: Up for sale is an incredible antique oil painting on stretched canvas of a wanderer on a mountain path. It is signed "Ferrante" at lower right. Very well-executed. Based on wear and style, I'd date this to the 1940s or 1950s. Possibly Italian origin, though that is a guess. Framed in a nice period wood frame.
Condition: Painting is in very good condition. Minor spotting. Canvas is slightly loose, could use a restretching. Frame is in very good condition.
Measurements: Painting measures approximately 10 inches wide x 8 inches high. Frame measures approximately 13 inches wide x 11 inches high.
