This 7.25” Hummel figurine is in MINT condition. It bears TMK #5 (Last Bee) having been produced Circa 1972-1979. Master sculptor Helmet Wehlte designed this in 1956 and the originals where 6.25”.
This charming, kindred little boy is sending his Christmas letter to Santa. His sled is at his feet, and he is wearing his mittens, scarf and cap! An extremely colorful and detailed porcelain figurine and made by the fabulous craftsmen at the Goebel factory.
There is such beautiful detail in this hand painted figure - so typical of the quality of Goebel's porcelain figurines.
