This figurine is 6" tall and the trademark (3 Incised Bee) places the manufacture of this piece Circa 1959-69. This rather special figurine has no chips, mars, repairs, or crazing on the bottom (see photo). It is in perfect MINT shape.
This is an extremely RARE piece according to Lucky’s bible on Hummels.
“First designed by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1939. When first released it had grey pants, a brown coat and pink vest. This changed to brown coat, GREEN pants and pink vest, finally to brown coat and pants and white vest. The variation in shortest supply is the GREEN pants version.” This is one of them and has been valued to over $300.
