The Universal Mike Mercury's Supercar lunchbox is a vintage metal lunchbox based on the 1960s science fiction television puppet show "Supercar'. Produced by Gerry Anderson and told the story of a jet-powered flying car piloted by Mike Mercury. Ran 39 episodes and then adapted into comic book. AP Films Ltd produces merchandise for the show , one of which was this lunchbox.
Box has red borders and black handle, color illustrated graphics on front, back and side panels. Front features Mike Mercury, Horatio Beaker, Jimmy Gibson and Mitch the monkey in the supercar as it orbits the earth below. Lunchbox itself can also be ssin on back seat next to Mitch. Text on right hand side of panel reads "Mike Mercury's Supercar Orbital Food Container".
Reverse of box shows Supercar taking off vertically from the ocean, with a submarine below and seagulls circling.
Top panel features another image of Supercar flying through space with earth in the background.
Bottom panel shows Mike Mercury with Rudolp
