Antique Spanish/Portuguese Filigree Hair Ornament Peineta Brooch Pendant

This is a beautiful old Spanish (or possibly Portuguese) hair ornament. It’s made of gold-toned filigree metal with tons of detail and has colorful glass cabochons all over it—reds, blues, pinks, greens, and more. There are also little dangling charms at the bottom that move when you do, one of which is missing.

It looks like it may have been worn as a decorative hair comb or pinned into fabric. There's a small Egyptian figure at the top and loops along the edges, so it might’ve been attached to a ribbon or veil. The back is missing whatever piece held it in the hair originally, but it’s still a gorgeous statement piece for a collection or display.

It’s definitely vintage—late 1800s or early 1900s from what I can tell. Has some wear and patina, which is normal for its age, but overall it’s in good shape. No missing stones.
