This used to be the standard for lighting. The older these lamps the better. The newer models are mostly tacky and cheap. This one has a heavy metal base to keep it safely balanced. The light is bright and the ceramic allows it to be moved from room to room. Its a good option for when the loghts go put when a generator is not an option. This would be pretty with a green or orange colored oil.
