Antique WWI Military Certificate
"Columbia Gives To Her Son The Accolade of the New Chivalry of Humanity". These prints were presented to soldiers that were wounded in action during WWI.
On the bottom, the name has been printed of the soldier that received this certificate. This one was presented to Willie Meeks.
Also has the signature of President Woodrow Wilson on the bottom right.
These certificates were designed by C.H. Blasfield in 1919. They are made of heavy stock paper with black and white details. Since this certificate is almost 100 years old the white paper has aged. This certificate is framed and has glass over it. The frame is vintage and has a great "aged" look that
