FN (Fine) condition
Original, antique .75" silvered brass lapel stud with threaded post and screw cap on the reverse. This version was intended for boys while a version with a pin on the back was intended for girls. The premium was issued in the 1930’s by Street & Smith publishers of The Shadow pulp magazine and originally sent out to those who joined The Shadow Radio Program Fan Club with only ten cents (stamp or coin) needed to cover part of the cost and mailing of the Shadow Club emblem.
This hard to find, scarce, pulp magazine collectible was purchased through Heritage Auctions and comes from the Milt Rosenberg Estate.
