I only took the plastic cover off so I could take pictures without the glare but Ariel has never been removed from her box. She was shipped to me directly from Disney and did come with some factory defects including multiple freckle spots on her face and neck, some hair slightly out of place, and a small mark on the right side of her face as shown in photos 3-7. The plastic cover has some scratches and scuff marks and some of the gold is fading away on various parts of the box, which I did my best to capture in the photos. She is still a beautiful doll and a must have for collectors. I will be shipping her in her Disney shipper box. From a smoke free pet friendly home.
