This an exquisite Lladro Daisa "Wedding Couple" vintage sculpture statue. It was first introduced in 1972 and retired in 2004. Item number is 4808. This piece is from the Wedding collection. It was designed by Julio Fernandez. This stunning piece of a couple wearing their gorgeous wedding attire. Their faces seem solace and happy. The bride has a beautiful dress with white and pink pastel colors. The dress is high neck with a divide that look as if it's a small shawl. There are several bows going down on one side of the dress. She is also wearing a beautiful short white veil and is holding a wedding bouquet. The groom is wearing a grey long tail tuxedo and is holding his top hat in his hand. This piece is handmade, and hand painted with a glazed finish. It was made in Spain. It measures 10.75" tall 3.50" wide. This piece is truly breathtaking. It's in excellent condition no chips or cracks. No original box. Last known original retail price is $315.00.
