Vintage 1958 Orange Taffeta Formal Dress

This is an exquisite orange taffeta formal made by my mother for a close friend's daughter, a sophomore in college. This was made for her sorority formal. It can be worn with or without the attached straps. The size is probably equivalent to a size 0-2 in today's sizes. It is 47" long from top of zipper in the back (which is a lovely deep V) to the hem. It measures 7.5" from the under arm to the waist. The bust is 30" and will fit a "C" cup. The front is a lovely straight, slim fit, the skirt in the back is pleated for added dimension that makes this formal stand out. There is boning in the front and back. If you need more measurements please ask. The intricate work on the front is made of glass beads and rhinestones. All are present and remain in excellent condition. There are no defects. Should be dry cleaned. Has been carefully stored and is ready to wear. My mom was an expert seamstress. She made entire wardrobes for wealthy ladies in town.
