AO American Optical Original Pilot Gold 57[]20 Original AO Glass Lenses

American Optical AO logo(on the arms) Gold 57[]20 Original Pilot bayonet aviator sunglasses with the original AO gray non-polarized glass lenses. The glass has been removed, cleaned, and reinstalled. Rating 9/10 very good. The frames are original 5 1/2 Gold aviator frames that were issued to Naval Aviators in the 60-70’s. They have been disassembled, cleaned, and straightened back to original specifications. The plastic pieces on the frame have almost no yellowing, see pictures. The gold frame rates a spectacular 9/10, see pictures. The nose pads are original, but thoroughly cleaned. The frames are 5.25” wide. Please use that as a guide, with a pair of glasses that fit your face, to make sure these will fit your face. Please do this before you bid. The frames are extensively detailed, but they are not new. I do my best, but I cannot make them new. Comes with a hard case for safe shipping. A piece of military history in excellent condition.
