Steiff Sheddy Shetland Pony, 1960's
I am selling this and several other Steiff's for the original owner who has had them since the 1960's
This is a large Steiff Shetland Pony that stands approx. 18 inches high and is approx 20 inches in length.
The dralon is a creamy white with large brown spots and some airbrushed highlights. His hooves are leather and he has glass eyes.
There are a couple condition issues that can be repaired, his tail was pulled away on the hind end leaving a hole you can see if you lift his tail and the straw stuffing is exposed. (awkward, lol) He has a tear along the edge of his ear, near wear the Steiff button is. If you look at the last two pictures you will see the conditions I'm referring to.
He has been stored away for many decades so expect him to be a bit dusty, but he is odor free and has always been in a smoke free environment.
This horse is a nice vintage collectible best for display, I don't recommend it to be used as a toy.
