1990's (31"w × 25"h) Here's a near vintage Canadian Hunter Whisky mirror sign for your collection. This bar sign features a wood frame and high-lights the Woodland Caribou as part of the America's Endangered Wildlife series. Excellent condition. Imported from Canada.

The caribou is a remarkable member of the deer family. It has a thick, beautiful coat that protects it from the coldest winter weather, and special hooves that enable it to traverse deep snow, ice or boggy tundra. Its majestic antlers, found on both males and females, can grow as large as five feet wide. Caribou herds roam long distances annually, migrating as far as 600 miles from the winter protection of northern taiga forests to summer grazing grounds. Once 3.5 million strong, Woodland Caribou in the U.S. now number 450,000 with less than 100 in the lower 48 states.
