VTG RARE 80s Acid Washed Levi's 706 Straight Leg Student Fit Jeans Size 30x30

Vintage RARE 1988 Acid Washed Levi's 706 Straight Leg Student Fit Jeans. Size 30x30 (they have been cut to 30 inch length). The original size was 30x34. Made in the USA, they are 100% heavyweight denim, and aside from markings at the bottom of the jeans, I see no marks. In my searching on the internet, I didn't find another pair exactly like this style number wise. The student fit was offered for a limited time and was aimed at younger people and generally had a slimmer fit. I am by no means a Levi's denim expert, and my statement of RARE is based on my search of the internet and the information I was able to find. Please see pictures for more details and measurements.
