Vintage work of art Made in Italy. I believe frame is brass. The front is glass. Back is felt.

Appears painted on the inside of curved glass, attached to a very old brass frame
Paint loss mid and right side notably. Back sticker says Made in Italy
The back felt is worn and does have marks on it from its old age. Also part of the back
Isn't sitting in. See pic 11
I do know that the glass is in good shape, and it appears painted below the glass , as glass isn't textured
Note , the back frame cover appears to be upside down, and nailed in. ( the hanging latch is on the wrong end)
If I may refer you to my last photo. The frame still hangs perfectly centered and upright . As a small nail can easily fit through the frame design and hang it easily.
